ATTICA — Glenda Rose (Schnaufer) Fleming, 84, Murfreesboro, Tenn., mother of an Attica resident, died Friday, March 9, 2007 in Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville, Tenn. She was born Dec. 3, 1922, in Palestine, Texas, the daughter of Chris and Mary Emily (Cleaver) Schnaufer. She married Charles Kenneth Fleming Aug. 25, 1944. He preceded in death Aug. 5, 2005. She attended Sam Houston State Teachers College, Huntsville, Texas, and was employed for a number of years as a secretary. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Murfreesboro. Survivors include: two daughters, Karen Rae (David) McDonald, Attica and Gena Lee Fleming, Nashville, Tenn.; a grandson, Mojahed Eisivand, Houston, Texas; and a nephew. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, and a nephew. Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Eric Schnaufer officiating. Burial was in Forest Park East Cemetery, Houston. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Habitat for Humanity in memory of Mrs. Fleming. – jlr
